See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Small and comfortable tap room usually selling at least 6 of the brewery's own ales, plus guests from other breweries, all in cask condition from boxes kept in the fridge. A range of keg beers is also on tap, and the brewery states that all of its own beers are gluten free.

The pub hosts quiz nights, and food is often available from pop-up food stalls. Regular large events are held during the summer, with live music, picnics, camping, and a wider range of food options. Disabled access is available, and pets are welcomed.

There is a shop behind the bar area, stocking a wide range of merchandise including beer, locally sourced spirits, the brewery's own coffee blend, and clothing.

The X6 bus stops in Smallburgh village, which is around 15 minutes' walk away.

Opening hours vary according to the season.
