Attractively modernised inn dating from the 17th century with eight en-suite rooms, and serving excellent, freshly prepared meals. In summer the courtyard garden is the perfect spot for relaxed dining, while in winter the bar is warm and cosy. A large restored barn is used for functions, and there's a beer festival in July.

Two ales are served, with lunch and dinner menu Monday to Saturday with daily specials and roasts on a Sunday.
