Planning Ref 21/00182/F On 13/11/25 the planning committee of Norwich City council approved the demolition of existing building and construction of 3.5 storey building to provide 15 one and two bedroom flats with associated works.

The site was the location of the Blueberry pub that was once one of the most popular pubs for local musicians, who regularly played there. The pub closed in 2019 much to the dismay of locals, and has never reopened. Originally the St Paul's Tavern until 1984, the pub stood on this site since 1836.

Live music has featured heavily in this pub located just off Magdalen Street, which has two bars, with a large stage area, and benches outside when it's warmer.
