See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Cosy 17th century city corner pub, which was extended at least twice into neighbouring buildings in the last thirty years, and has been completely refurbished up-market a few years ago.
The original pub is now the main bar, with most of the seating in the extended areas.
Three ales are served, mostly from local breweries, the pub having apparently been released from the Greene King tie, alongside craft beers and a good range of spirits, including gin from the on-site the distillery.
May close somewhat earlier on weekdays if quiet!
