Popular pub in one of the city's oldest and trendiest areas near the Norwich Arts Centre.
Taken over by Grain Brewery in 2010 and completely refurbished, it is a stylish 'de facto' brewery tap, offering four or five of the brewery's ales at all times, with the occasional guest.
The two-bar split-level interior is fairly small, with wooden chairs and tables, and a log fire in winter. The large Mediterranean-style courtyard garden is a fine place to while away a summer afternoon or evening.
Excellent cocktails and spirits are also available, along with barbecues in summer.
