Large two-roomed pub serving up to five real ales from Adnams and other larger breweries. The front bar with an entrance off the street has several tables and a modern fee, and the back bar has several pool tables.

There's also a small terrace in what used to be the car park, and live music on Saturday nights.

The pub was refurbished in 2012 to provide six bedrooms.
