The Anchor has been owned by the Temple family since the 19C, but was leased for many years until 2025 when they took over the management, after a refurb.

The restaurant area is to the far left as you go in, with three smaller drinking and dining areas to the right. There are several tables in front by the (quiet) road, and to one side, with excellent snacks and meals. Three ales on handpump, mostly from local breweries. A function room seating fifty people is also available.

Seal-viewing trips, run by the pub owners, can be taken from Morston Quay, a short walk away, and Blakeney can be reached via a beautiful walk along the coastal path. Closes 6pm on Sundays from Jan-Mar.
