An excellent single-bar village pub with an easy-going feel. There's also a welcoming snug room, with a door to the garden, and a separate pool room which also leads to the garden.

The wood burner in the inglenook fireplace at one end of the bar is especially welcoming on cold winter days, and in summer the large beer garden with beautiful countryside views is a great place to relax. There's quiet background music, and regular music nights on Wednesdays and Fridays.

A huge display of beer mats attached to the bar timbering is testament to the many guest beers offered in the past. Three ales and four ciders are always available.

There is daily happy hour 4-5pm and 6pm Mondays - with all pints just £3.90 (September 2026).
