Imposing facade with a statue of a white hart as the pub sign. The pub describes itself as a restaurant and has a front and rear area laid for dining either side of the central bar with a raised lounge area at the far end of the rear area. A further dining room is to the left of the entrance hall with yet another two dining rooms on the upper floor, one of which is available as a function room.

The pub is smart and comfortable, with five en-suite bedrooms available, and serves breakfasts from 7.30 (8 on Saturday and Sunday) to 11.30.
