Traditional village pub dating in parts back to the 17th century and with outdoor architecture from three distinct phases of English history, refurbished in April 2024.

The beer garden to the rear has ample seating at bench tables, including under a covered and paved patio and partially covered outdoor area. The remainder of the garden area is grassed.

Dog and cyclist friendly. There is also outside seating on a raised patio to the front of the pub as well as tables and seating by the pavement at the front.
