The King of Hearts closed in 1982 and became a tea-rooms for over thirty years, until it re-opened in 2016 as the Queen of Hearts, a bar and restaurant, serving two ales from handpump.

A selection of cakes and pastries are available, as well as breakfast and lunch, and in the evening home cooked food using locally sourced meat, fish, and vegetables wherever possible. Carvery served Sunday lunchtime.
