Intricate two-level premises, dating from the 16th century. Has a cosy lower bar with a log-burner in winter, a restaurant and darts room on the entrance-level and a bar billiards table in the roadside bar.
Beer festivals are held at Easter and in late summer, and the pub has plenty of outdoor seating, some covered, to the rear of the car park.
20 minutes' walk from Coltishall Halt station, on the Bure Valley Line, and a short walk from Coltishall Common on the River Bure.
