See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

A large pub a short distance from the station and the beach, set in pleasant gardens in the centre of this quiet coastal village.

Three or four well-kept and mostly local ales are stocked, and excellent home-cooked meals can be enjoyed in the dining areas or outside, where the gardens can seat up to two hundred. The front door is a rather eccentric design - see photo!

In the 1970s major rock bands such as Deep Purple played 'secret' gigs at West Runton Pavilion, which was at the rear of the pub, but was unfortunately demolished in the 1980s.
