Comfortable two-bar locals town pub, "Danish/English" B&B, with five rooms and a restaurant, which stocks three or four ales, mostly from Adnams, and varieties of Danish schnapps.
As well as home-cooked Sunday roasts, there are Danish open sandwiches filled with meatballs or marinated herring. The pub, which has portraits of the different lifeboats which have served the town on its tables, began life as the Railway Inn, in the 1840s.
Live music every second Tuesday of the month.
