A 15th century brick and black beamed pub just away from the Tuesday Market Place. Inside it has been modernised in a smart fashion but keeping the old features. There is a bar and seating area at the front, and to the rear it opens up with a very high beamed roof and the large inglenook brick fireplace, there is also more seating and a second bar on a mezzanine. Coffee and cake served from 11am every day. On Sundays a carvery is available 12-4pm.There is a public (pay) car park next to the pub.
