Norfolk CAMRA is the umbrella organisation for the four CAMRA branches covering the county.

This is where you'll find everything that's organised at county level, including the Tasting Panel, Norfolk Nips, and the County Pub and Club of the Year competitions.

Lynn Brewery wins Champion Bottled Beer award for second year running!

For the second year running a beer from North Wooton’s Lynn Brewery has been named the Champion Bottle Conditioned Beer of Norfolk 2026.

Southgates Stout, a 4.7% Oatmeal Stout, was named top brew from the 65 entries submitted for the competition, organised by CAMRA’s Norfolk Tasting Panel.

Elmtree Brewery‘s Golden Pale, a 5% vegan Pale Ale took second prize, with Humpty Dumpty‘s 4.2% Broadland Sunrise bitter winning the bronze medal.

Norfolk Club, Pub and Cider Pub of the Year

Massive congratulations to the Blackfriars Tavern, Great Yarmouth, which reached the Final Four of the National Pub of the Year 2025 and has been judged National Cider Pub of the Year 2025!

And congratulations to Carleton Rode Social Club at Carleton Rode, which has been judged Norfolk Club of the Year 2025.

Norfolk Nips wins Silver in National Branch Magazine of the Year!

The Norfolk branches’ magazine, edited by Lucy Cousins, has been awarded the Silver Medal in the National Branch Magazine of the Year 2025 competition, at CAMRA’s Members’ Weekend in Torquay.

The judges said the magazine was “Bright, colourful and very reader-friendly” and that “Pub, brewery and festival news is very strong and expert input from writers such as Malin Norman and Pete Brown adds interest”
